This is a remarkable piece of work John. The (falcon) is very, very good. I'm sorry I cant give you more than the 5 points I have. Bravo!

The falcons' details are very well done, but the women seems less complete. The orb she is hold is lost in the backround, increase the contrast there and it will really pop.

Thank you for the comment, Loneorbit! Adjusted it digitally, and you're absolutely right! Thanks again!

I like the detail in the face and the bird is great but it seems as though it is unfinished .....

The amount of effort you put into this really shows in your detail ^_^ The falcon is beautiful, although I think i would have liked to see the talons pronouced more because it seems to be the link between the person and the guide.

The orb looks really cool

I would have to disagree with Blisster on this, because pencil drawings always look unfinished, but the style you have is very..."specific"? I'm not sure I can find the word. Very neat and straight-edged. That's a good thing! It's something I like to look at for awhile, to see everything you've drawn.

I like how the skin looks leathery and worn. I like the detail you put into the neck, but I think the right hand could be worked on.

So, Talons, and Right hand. Man, I have to start shortening my posts >.<

Very nice work.
I think it could use some more contrast with the background, and in general.
Maybe you can darken it a bit (I sure it will look great), but hey, what do I know :)
